Welcome to our Pop-Up shop in Helsinki this weekend

Aluna, will be officially launching its fantastic collection of Ancestral Art tomorrow Friday 26th at Spalt PR Helsinki. We will have a pop-up running at Iso Roobertinkatu 30, from Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd of July. The pop-up will close at 15h on Friday.

We still have left a few gorgeous bags and jewellery by our artist partners from the Wayúu and Emberá-Chamí tribes from Colombia. Most of our pieces are not yet on the website, so come for a preview and the opportunity to get your favourite one before anyone else.

We believe in protecting and sharing with the world the fantastic artistry and craftsmanship that has been passed from generation to generation among ancestral peoples. They are fantastic artists and humans from whom we have a lot to learn. Protecting ancestral peoples is akin to protecting the beautiful tapestry of human diversity.

By fostering economic trade with ancestral peoples we allow them to keep their culture and traditions, without having the need to move to big cities and therefore lose who they are.

In fact, Wayúu normative systems have been included in UNESCO’s World Intangible Patrimony.

At Aluna we believe in purpose, we believe in commitment and we believe in being proud and responsible consumers. When you own an authentic piece of ancestral art, you look good, feel good and most importantly do good, so join us in our quest to protecting these fantastic and unique traditions.

We look forward to seeing you!
