Description
A beautiful piece reminiscent of the luscious vegetation in ancestral Emberá-Chamí territory.
Nabera Kiduá or The Sacred Leaves, represents sacred leafy plants found alongside the river banks, used by the Jaibaná during healing and spiritual ceremonies.
The top row of the piece represents Nepono, the sacred flowers used as well, by the Jaibaná.
The fringes in between rows represent the river, the top row represents the mountains and the tips of the necklace represent the sacred medicinal leaves.
This piece pays homage to earth, in brown; the nature in green and the sky, serenity and peace in white.
