Eperā ÓÓ, means the path of the Emberā. The Emberā-Chamí people are fighters and survivors. Holding onto their ancestral customs and traditions, they have managed to keep their culture alive even when they have found themselves displaced to other parts of the country.
The colors have specific meanings to the Emberá-Chamí. Chïtör, white/grey, symbolises peace, light and purity. Blue, pacuarā, symbolises the skies, water and space.
