Description
Eà Dè or “The Path Home”, a piece representing the tribe’s ancestral dwelling.
The small triangles on the first row represent Eà or The Hut. The bigger triangles represent the Colombian Andes.
Dé, the middle section of the piece, that joins the two sections, represents the path home.
Red symbolises the Emberà-Chamí as a race. Brown symbolises Earth, our home and a place to be protected. Green symbolises nature, plants and animals.
Eà Dè is a beautiful and heartfelt work of art that pays homage to the living and delicate world that surrounds us and to which we are connected.
